To complete the level, you must first observe the knitting pattern at the top of the screen to identify which colors of thread are needed. On the puzzle grid below, tap two or more adjacent buttons of the same color to merge them, which creates a spool of that colored thread. Once a spool appears, tap and drag the thread to the corresponding colored section on the knitting pattern to fill it in. Continue this process of merging buttons to create spools and applying the thread to the pattern until the entire design is fully knitted.
Be aware that this is designated as a "Hard Level," so careful planning is essential. The number in the center of the puzzle grid is a move counter; when it depletes, new rows of buttons will be added, which can clutter the board if not managed properly. Blocks marked with a question mark are mystery blocks that will reveal a colored button when a merge happens next to them.
Strategically plan your merges by prioritizing the colors currently required for the knitting pattern to work efficiently. Use the empty spaces on the grid to move buttons around and set up larger, more advantageous merges. If the board becomes too crowded, make any possible merge to clear space, even if it's for a color you don't immediately need.
