The primary objective is to complete the knitting pattern at the top of the screen by filling it with the correct colored yarn. To do this, you must first solve a puzzle on the board below by merging spools of the same color. You can drag one spool onto another of the same color to combine them into a larger stack, following a mechanic similar to the game 2048. Once a spool is moved to the top "active" row, you can drag its yarn to the corresponding section of the knitting pattern. The puzzle board contains various obstacles that must be cleared to create space for maneuvering spools. To clear blocks with numbers on them, you must place any color spool on them to reduce their count to zero. Making merges or clearing blocks adjacent to question mark blocks will reveal the hidden spools.

A key strategy is to plan your merges carefully to both create the yarn colors you need for the pattern and to efficiently clear obstacles from the board. Since any color spool can be used on numbered blocks, it's wise to use spools that are currently in your way to clear them.
